Default Advice on a gaming monitor

Looking to upgrade from my seven year old Dell 24' monitor. Got my eye on one of these atm... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824236293. Any thoughts on it? I don't care much about 3D, but that 120/144Hz sure sounds good. Currently using two GTX 460's SLI'd and they have the DVI ports which I hear you need to use to take advantage of these screens. I wanna see FC3 in all it's glory.

That's a nice screen ..............

Going to need more than 2x 460's to push max settings ..........

I have 2x 580's and on max settings it dips into the low 20's at times

looks dam good doing it though

MW3 in 3D is off the chain though

Thanks buddy...think I will order it this morning. With settings on ultra Fraps says I get as low as 30fps at times with my current set-up. I'll just wait and see before considering card upgrades. What do you think about the idea of running a moderate sized ssd only for the gamer ? Just the OS and and a couple of Steam games on it at any one time.

I put a 64gig ssd in for my son's gamer, damn games are so huge now-a-days, two games and no space anythin else, had to dig up another 64gig ssd out of a netbook (which I bigfooted the screen one day).

I use ssd's for everything now, They have spoiled me to the point that my old HD's have been reduced to backup storage,

Trust me, they are worth every penny and are easily the biggest upgrade to any computer reguardless of the specs

I will post some crystalmark results, once you see them you will be out another couple of hundred .............

Hell I do not even have the patience to load modern games on a standard hard drive anymore and loads Win 7 in 10 minutes

Sammy 830's are the bomb, if you can find them, newegg has been sold out forvever

Edit

Here is the 128GB 830 and a 500GB WD Black

the other on is a friends computer I am working on with a OCZ Vertex 4

With those settings I see 35-40fps in game with the 460's...I'll try fullscreen for effect.
