Default Economic -99°C LN2

I am developing a -99°C LN2 system that will eliminate the need to pour LN2 into pots, and give the ability to use LN2 in virtually any angle configuration (not just benching). Imagine a system that uses a delivery mechanism with a cold block like the single stage/cascade phase change systems. But it uses an LN2 Dewar rather than a closed loop plant. Of course the LN2 is expendable, but controlled, and not simply boiling away full throttle as is seen in the LN2/Dice pots. Everyone should have the chance to go below 0! I'll have the prototype built in about 2 weeks!

SWEET!
Any ideal on pricing? I assume this would attach to a duwar, how about multiple mounts like for CPU and two GPU'S?

We'll be tuned in
Gonna be interesting seeing a precision temperature controller adjust to the temperature swings under loads.

Not sure on pricing. I can give you a rough quote though if you want to private message me. Are we allowed to talk about that kind of stuff on the blog?

Initially I am designing a single cold block and delivery system. Incorporating two or more cold blocks is significantly more complicated, but not by any means impossible. Next on my list is a dry-box to eliminate condensation while benching.

That's really not a problem, but more expensive than what I'm intending. Precision control systems that maintain steady temp set points under fluctuating loads require specialized controllers, relays, solenoid valves and a chassis to mount it all. Not a problem, but at this point that would need to be a custom build. In the system I am designing the rate of flow/cooling is manually controlled by a valve on the Dewar, the wider open the valve, the more LN2 flows, the colder the block. It is intended to make the possibility of a safer more efficient LN2 cooling available to more people.

Sure! . . . Actually, -99° is an estimate. I'm going to be running tests once the system is built, but I know the stuff we build now is rated at -99°C. LN2 starts doing weird stuff at lower temperatures like condensing CO2 out of the air . . We'll know for sure what operating temperatures are when we test the system.

BTW, I'm talking about -99°C (celcius) not F (Fahrenheit). In Fahrenheit it is -146°. That's damn cold!
