Kal send me some test setting but i couldnt even boot because of the @$ qpi.He told me to set it at 1.35 but R2E the lowest can go is 1.82 wtf.

Even in auto cant boot only if i set at 1.60v i can boot with no problem.Anyway after some tests the best combination that works stable is the ram at 1880mhz and timings 7-7-7-24 2t

Actually it was the cpu pll to be set at 1.4 but lowest it could go was 1.82. I think that 975 is like 2chesapeakes that needed all the qpi voltage.

Yup my 975 required alot of QPI/Dram voltage to bump the uncore speed to 4000Mhz + and that would only work at -95c. Did you try putting everything into auto and use the OC by memory in the bios? Set it to 2000Mhz and see if it will boot. Use the Asus Turbo V utility to see what voltages are being set and use that as a baseline. If your CPU is anything like mine the uncore speed is your limiting factor and not the memory modules.

Every time i set my memory at 1866,1880 even at 2000 i pass the memtest 10 times with no problem at all,but at those speeds i may need to lower my overclock at 975 for the memories to work.

Btw at what timings you set your memories ? for me it seems to work the 7-7-7-24 2t.

I was running my Gskill Perfect Storms 2000Mhz 8-8-8-21-1T with 88tRFC. What type of temps are you hitting on the CPU and cores.

Is that CPU temp or the temp of the cores. I have found the core temps can be 15+ c more than theCPU temp depending on the cooling I was using.
