towards the bottom of the 1m 38s area is getting really tight.... sub 38s is going to be a tough fish to catch indeed. Beating my head on my desk seems to make things go faster though, or my brain slower... :laughing:

They all say the same exact thing. (not sure why they all have not been merged ;) )

And for pifast.. sure there is a thread on that too... other than that.. its still doing hte same calcualtions of pi... think of it as spi 2M

You are going to have to switch to the olive theme to progress. Are you using the OCX SPI Tweaker?

Yup! Got the Olive theme. I think its churches OS from the FTP which boots default into olive. I use the benchtech tools for tweaking. The problem right now is that going from the Giga board to the R3E with the same settings im loosing like 5 sec. which is pretty crazy. :Dizzy: Working on it! Do you use GPU drivers?

Most you guys are probably doing this but for those that arent
-clear off your desktop of junk (like face :) )
-try moving around where you are running the bench from on your HDD ;)
-manual wazza is about .3s faster than OCX pi tweaker so if you learn to do it the hard way you will be rewarded.
-Sub timings sub timings sub timings, get your butt into CPU tweaker and start lowering them till you freeze!
-XP olive is the only way as just stated
-background services, large system cache
-try different motherboard bios'
-think outside the box, anyone try cas 5?
-16bit and low res, not sure it will help

i thought about dropping to 2:6 to try for cas5 or 4.... going to try that next.

I am going 24/7 OCer on this shit right now cuz the classy is so bizarre... cant get no QPI speed outta it.. if I set anything but auto on QPI I get no boot. At stock I can set 4.8, but 5.8 is no boot.

Always something with me...:ohcrap: Maybe it is not my HW...
