threw my first 655k into the maximus and -170cb -155cbb. Wont do over 6.3ghz but didnt hammer volts 1.85v board needs a new bios, it drops imc voltage to 1.1v random and read point had my ram at 2.5v lol retarded. Gonna try the other later or tomorrow, still have to run the lightning with my ass sucker 980x. HW points ftw...........

Spent a little time on 32m tonight with the last of my ln2 ...

This a0 is siiick, no problem running 32m at 6.2ghz, ram @ 2000 and uncore @ 4600 :D

The problem is I SUCK, need to install chuch's xp and do some proper tweaking.

Out of 3 980x, two are not great and one (the ES of course) is good.

Chuchs OS made no difference to my scores.. going to try tiny 9 next.

TBH I think it aint about the OS you install but how you tweak it. Missing shit from the OS only saves HDD space. If you stop it from ever running whats the time gain?

I am trying rev9 next, still cant touch FLP (unless you count install time.. one of these days I will figure out how to use the image maker for that (uses Vista winbom imaging tech with XP SP2 code... so nlite... oooo never tried vlite...)

Doubt it will work.. it has the tools built in to make unattended disks.. I mean too... just have not yet...
