Software clocking is used to get that last little bit extra that you cant get from BIOS clocking usually. Hmm

Ok, so I suck on 2d, at least with the 980 :Dizzy: This is the best I've gotten. Forgot to put the true temp up but the cores were in the mid 20s. Not a winner so don't really matter :P

Never mind the pics, got one in bmp again and it's 5 megs. Scores were
pifiast 18.73 and super pi was 140.375

no tweaks on the super pi, or the pi fast eigher cause I still can't figure out how to load the wazza (or even where to find it !!!!)

Maybe a new platform tomorrow. That or back to LN2 for boints.

To whomever it was asking about my bios revision I checked this morning...it was #50 lol. I just loaded #74 this morning on the 759 and will see what it offers in positive if any.

What a mistake...after updating bios the board will hardly run any of my previous profiles. Utter failure...wonder if I can get it back?

Update : Just found my previous version. It was really bios #49 that reports as #50....wish me luck.

Whew! Got it back and managed to lower my time as well. Moral of the story is if it aint broke leave it the frack alone. :good:

profiles are usually not good betwixt bios versions.

Even after manualy entering profiles exactly it would not boot into XP after the bios update. This mb evidently does not like the latest and supposedly greatest.
