Only thing I can think if is have a post somewhere that you edit and upload attachments too and steal the links. too much work though. Much easier to just use imgshack/photobucket or whatever. Plus the auto resizing thumbnail thing. It is why I almost never use attachments in my posts.

Once you've uploaded , simply hit the drop down Attachment box and click the image number you want embedded in the post and it'll populate your post with the arrayed image
