I would think both .single CF and Tri fire Nice ...... I have one hoping for some CF action in the future That would be 4 in total? didn't review one in the hole ??? |

Should be nice to see how they scale single, C/F, and Trifire :D does your board have 4 PCI-E slots? |

I am so busy at work that I haven't taken the 5870 out yet...Got some time off this weekend.....maybe??? |

awesome! enjoy them, once you hit 1000/1300 it takes quite some cpu horsepower I have 2x VaporX sapphires and have 2 more 5870s comming monday on the 4way board |

minor update messed around a little today... this is a weak fan on my TRUE. Maybe later tonight I hook up my dryer tube to the outside air w/ a 220CFM delta (its about -5°C here right now). http://img149.imageshack.us/img149/1739/31140h.jpg http://img697.imageshack.us/img697/3787/32208.jpg http://img46.imageshack.us/img46/7163/318k.jpg |

Cold air REALLY Helps.. get them VDDC temps down and crank those volts up :) Ugh looks like 0 scaling in AM3 :( Interesting to see very little CPU bottlenecking to with tri fire. 2% gain with a ~8% CPU increase? Sweet I was posting over at OCF about people incorrectly using hte teerm CPU bottleneck. glad to see I was right (looking at 295 reviews, I am starting to think that like Intel IGPs nVidia SLI is very CPU limited, more so than the performance would suggest) |

Yeah the cold air is for the processor though. I need to run the full gamut of benches. prolly do that tomorrow. Im happy with the 950 so far. its clocking decent on the 24x multi which is surprising... aquamark3 has never scaled with multiple cards (usually just a VERY small gain over single card). also vantage is almost never cpu bottlenecked, it has nothing to do with 1 2 or 4 cards really. cpu plays a small part in that bench |
