Hopefully no problems. I haven't run th3 5870 or 5970 in a lil while but if memory serves me correct, using Afterburner to adjust voltages while using CCC to adjust clocks works best with multiple cards.
Single card, I don't recall. |

I will run anything i get to keep for gratas... I think the XFX 5870 XXX is what you are referring to as the Black..Is that not the case??? I really don't know until i open the box.... I have only seen the Black name with the 5970..Then again, I haven't opened the box... As far as any problems I am only going by reviews on the egg which usually mean squat.... He told me what he was sending had the double lifetime warranty in case i wanted to give or sell it after i finished...It could be called the Black..The 5970 is... |

I just ordered the XFX "Vanilla" for this reason alone. There had been so many folks complaining about the XXX or OC version.

Shoot, nice score Gutterz, very nice :D
Make sure to pay an ear to the fan speeds to make sure they are not dropping off or running slow ;) These suckers get hot fast and then punk out. |
Thanks. With my window open I havent gone above 35c at 1Ghz core at I believe was 190v but was only Aq3 stable an a 950mhz clock beat it anyway so I nead to dial. I flashed to the Asus bios an now CCC shows 1200 core. Flashing is mush faster than nividia I thought somthin went wrong cause it was so fast.
Edit* no hot fix installed for the vid driver. |
