I seen this thread the other day read a page or so only. An a few guys think their dead cpu maybe because of this mod. I didnt read the whole thread cause I dont have a p55 set up. Just thought I'd throw it out their.

I can only say for myself I did it and mine is still running strong. :)

I did this mod to switch Cb Cbb on anf off on my clarkdale based mobo's:

Ya I dont know if it does I was just bringing it to your guys attention. I dont want to see anyone with broken hardware unless their on the other team.
