To go sub-zero takes a good bit of modding.
You pretty much need to dismantle the old a/c unit in question and put the evaporator in a cooler, and put the rad (or rads) in the cooler with it, and then fill with distilled water/antifreeze or whatever concoction Kal came up with worked well too..

Porting the a/c air directly through the rads or h/s helps, but I only got to zero with the machine off.

i see what is the rad?

Sorry... By rad I meant the radiator from your loop. :Hi:

Wish I had my thermal probe earlier. Coretemp was only reading 0C on my loop this winter jumping all the way up to 1C under load :)

so i am almost done with it...
and there is more prob now...

i took the system down just for cleaning and just make sure everything is working ok...
but after i put everything back to where everything was the pump starting to acting funny, it's getting louder and louder so i was like WTF and went in BIOS and looked at the temp and it was like 75 and still going up...
so i looked at the clear tube water is not even moving at all!
tried everything i can think of, not working... now i am just thinking about getting a cheep working water pump just get by the summer day that's coming up..

this is what i found on ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=370286323509
it's made by thermaltake
just wanna know what do you guys think?
it's only $20 so i am not really sure how are they?

Neuromancer 04-04-2010 02:20 PM

I wouldnt do that (plus its a 1/4 inch pump)

look for a cheap used 355 to tide you over.

$46 shipped 0 bids for a 655 here

Here is a 355 with low bids on it too

there are of course other alternatives as well

I would remove the top of you pump though and make sure hte impeller is not blocked or clogged.
