I have a hand me down env2 lol, screen flickers from being dropped so much.

F verizon, if you get a new smartphone they require a minimum data plan (extra $20 month for 10mb or some shit). All I do is talk or text I dont need apps. :( We already pay $100 a month for 2 phones lowest minutes plan and unlimited text ftl.

My Dad had a phone and gave it to my Mom earlier this year. Full on smart phone, and because its not listed on Verizons site anymore...

No data plan required!!

I intend to get one just because its a decent phone and with 802.11 I can surf the web/email whatever from just about anywhere :) Lots of mass transit come with 802.11 now, as well as restaurants coffee shops etc.

You can get phones like the Dare that can go online but arent smartphones so you dont have to pay for that stuff.

Picked up an evo yesterday, the web on it is great. Faster than our netbook. Should make it easier to keep up with u guys when I am away next week.

Hows battery life when surfing ?

I have the very first version iPhone and never upgraded, they have some nice upgrade deals tho but getting tired of iTunes and freaking high monthly charges. Al newer iPhones really dont do anything for me but EVO has some nice features.
if you want to play with one just go to like a bestbuy i am sure every one of them has to have one on display :laughing:

Hey Buck, battery life seems good while surfing. Its the camera with flash that wastes it. Absolutely love the the web on this thing tho.
