That sucker is the 6th 5870 I've purchased and it kicks booty. Very tempted to do the OCP mod.........but the financial loss ain't worth it for what is now a second tier GPU. It won't play at more than 1.49v or less than -130 temps. Able to get through 03 Nature at 1450, but can't do Trolls at those clocks.

On a positive note, I got the CPU to post again after a 2 hour break. Crossing fingers for performance tomorrow.

Me in too, though yet to recieve 980X from RMA. So hopefully by mid-july, I would be ready to put my GTX480 on LN2 and then if everything goes normal mod the shit out of it to gain some much needed air, err boints....

once you find the g-spot of the commando its pretty much pop and lock proccies in it and start around 1.75 and increase till it stops scaling. Have the money shot profile saved :)

@ Patch why are you running 4Gb mem config? is it related to coldbug?

Yes. It's not a huge difference, but it can usually go colder with 2 sticks. And mem/uncore clocks are easier.

Always a performance toss up between cpu coldbug, dual vs triple channel, uncore, and mem clocks.
