1) This contest is for Intel K-series CPU Owners only.



a. Anyone with a K-series chip can overclock using any method desired.
Entering

requires a validated CPU-Z link (using version 1.55) with "Tom's
Hardware Contest"

in the Submitted By: field. See sample below.

b. Prizes will be awarded based on overclock numbers submitted -
highest wins first

prize and so on down to the last prize.



2) Prizes:



a. 1st prize: one Intel Core i7-980X (Value: $999), one Intel DX58SO
motherboard

(Value: $229), and two Intel X25-M 80GB SSDs (Value: $199 each)

b. 2nd and 3rd prizes: one Intel Core i7-980X (Value: $999) and one
Intel DX58SO

motherboard (Value: $229).

c. 4th-24th prize two cases of Talking Rain Sparkling ICE carbonated
water (Value: $37)



REMEMBER, TO BE ELIGIBLE TO WIN A PRIZE, YOU MUST SUBMIT YOUR ACTUAL

I tried like hell last night ... kept hitting 6840-6860 and just couldn't squeeze any more.

I did get a badass backup for the qpi contest though :)

Nothing special, just 35x, 2v, and blast 'er lol

They extended the contest till the 30th though, not good for me, I need a quick end before someone hits 7ghz
