Thanks
And I have some neoprene type stuff, and got a couple of cloths/towels, do i just wrap one around the pot kinda thing?
Been looking at some pics, but everyone seems to do it so differently, don't wanna kill another mobo on first attempt :P

one of my first mistake was ...backside insulation..or the lack of...

board got so wet at the back...you wouldn't recognice it LOL

it was my x58 board...from evga..it was called classified...lol

GeorgeStorm 10-29-2010 05:01 AM

Mm, I normally have a layer of thin neoprene underneath for SS, might put a thicker layer aswell for LN2 :P

GeorgeStorm 11-01-2010 05:05 AM

Right,
How much should I get for my first session?
Will only be dealing with s775 cpus to begin with, (e2160, e4300, e6300, e6600)
How quickly will i get through the cold stuff? I don't have to bench them all in one go, probably not possible actually due to time restraints.
Thanks

IF all you have a is 25L fill it up :)

GeorgeStorm 11-01-2010 06:22 AM

How long would 25L last on dual core s775?

Neuromancer 11-01-2010 06:29 AM

I will let the pros handle that. I would expect at least two chips though. Less on the conroes more on the allendales.

GeorgeStorm 11-01-2010 06:43 AM

I meant in terms of time rather than chips
As I may have to have more than one session as I'm not sure for how long I can use the workshop area, and when its locked up etc
Getting LN2 is no probs, as long as its 5L at a time, don't have to pay del or anything, so 2 10 litre sessions is completely plausible in those terms.

ocgmj 11-01-2010 08:26 AM

10L will probably last you 6 hours (depending on your pour style) using those chips .

GeorgeStorm 11-01-2010 08:38 AM

That is exactly what i'm looking for
Thankyou :)
Not sure when I will first be doing it, need to find out about the availability of the room, but once I've done these chips
Looking at a nice i5 setup ;)
