Since the MOA pre-qualifier started and I got a gaggle of 580's I've gone through $700 in LN2 costs alone. Spent a lot of money on hardware, gotten very little sleep, killed more stuff than I have in the last year combined.

Sometimes you spend months chasing the pie in the sky and never get it. But it's oh so sweet when you do.

That's why I just picked up an 8800 GT. Thinking aobut just putting the 980 on phase and benching the card unmodded on air for some relaxing low-key hardware bointage.

.......who am I kidding. That card will end up modded, frozen, and dead before I get any boints at all.....just like my last 8800 GT.

I meant I suck because I still have no money. Hoping o Saint Nic drops a wad of cash under my tree this year. Daddy needs some new toys or at least a new 1156 mobo as mine is limited to 223 BCLK and under. That won't get me anywhere. Maybe it will on my 655k but that is iffy as it is a POS mobo. So my 1156 chase is grounded until I score another mobo. That leaves me with my 8ghz chase. Have plenty of chips there as well as a great mobo but that won't net me much more boints. It's alright as I'm use to being the OCA cheerleader, rofl. I ain't tripping though as one day I'll be back in the game.

I would be Core i5 with 8800 gt on air, no way I could compete with you guys 980x and 8800 gt's on LN2. I would still try though.

Should have an 8800gtx here soon paired up with a 875K on dice. Gonna be fun ;)

OCM

Sorry Shaun, just wanted to make some noise. Our back up is almost 56.9k...so we were lucky to find the right settings. We also pulled down a 194k sli 03. We have settings to share with you Patch when your ready. ;)
