well, I think its time for a little update to this thread, as I was able to find some very stable settings for this chip at an astonishing 272BCLK. I can run 3D at 5712Mhz (272x21) pretty much all day long at -65 or so. This chip has just continued to amaze me on DICE, and I really wonder what sorts of speeds it is capable of on LN2. A keeper for sure! :)

anyway, here are some results from a quick session with a volt modded 4870 last saturday





now that one confuses me....its a dual threaded benchmark but at 5712 I am only matching the scores of an i7 920 @ 4.9..... WTF!

really need a GPU pot to start getting some better clocks on the card to match the CPU :D
If anyone has one I wouldnt mind an offer.... hehe

Trying to acquire a dewar at the moment, already got a place lined up to fill it for cheap ;)

The card is a non-ref Sapphire with a pretty beefy VRM. handled 1.55v no problems and sayed relatively cool. stole it from the HTPC :D
