You need more CPU to realize the true power of that 570

My cpu is bottlenecking the 570?

Running f@h I crush 2600k's that are humming at 4.6-4.7 and thats just with my cpu at 4ghz.

Crusher, I have no idea how F@h handles gpu clock cycles or if it pairs cpu and gpu to make a package. I know that when it comes down to 3dMarks, you can be bottlenecked with a pos cpu clock speed.

When you crush the 2600k's are you comparing the same gpu like two 570's? Are your GPU clockspeeds higher than the crushee's?

Mm no for f@h I dont use my gpus for folding on my main rig. I wasnt trying to start an argument or anything, I do know the 2600s are about as fast or faster in most things, just not everything :)

I dont know, I guess I have a hard time believeing that a 5ghz 2600 will bottleneck a 570, at least thats how I interpreted your post..

No problem, I'm still curious tho if your F@H crushing is based off of sheer clockspeed or something to do with a cpu. Not that I'm a big folder/cruncher guy cuz I'm not.

Oh and I didn't think there was an argument brewin but after re-reading I can see how I may have seemed like a bit of a dick. I was actually shooting for mild sarcasm while posing a question ;)

Im not a huge folder either, I am just going off of times posted by other fellows running the same WU as I was. I wasnt doing anything special really, just run it between 4-4.2. I had a bit of an issue where my boaard would drop out of tri channel, so that was a 12-14k ppd loss.

i would try 1.15 but i dont know if its safe because of problems with burnt reference GTX570 :(
