ITs not hte PCB you need to read its the ICs themselves.

Elpida is the company that makes Hyper ICs..They also make other ICs.

http://www.elpida.com/en/products/ddr3.html

Look under part number you will see they end in 4 letters. That is how people refer to them.. that is their current product line. It does not include past chips since even my BDBG is not listed (whih I have)

They point it... you do not need to read the ICs to figfure out what chips are on it :) You can run the memory and see what results you get..

My guess is BDBG or BBSE probably bdbg. spreader is easy to remove with a hair dryer :D

That was easy Splave, they are indeed BDBG. Is that good?

Splave 04-11-2011 08:11 AM

they have a place in my heart as they helped get me to MOA americas :D

with the 1gb kit should be easy 2100 6-10-*-24

Wow cas 6, that's great. I hadn't even tried that low until now.

@ 1000MHz 6-10-8-24 it does 32m. I wonder if I can tighten anything up seeing how I'm cpu limited on the memory speed anyways.

I tried 6-9-6-22 at first and got bsod.

Testing now.

Splave 04-11-2011 11:49 AM

careful easy to pwn your OS messing with subs :)

32m is all uncore too btw ;)

ny_driver 04-11-2011 12:42 PM

OK thanks for the warning. ;)

So 6-9-6-23-78 seems to get me a little lower latency than 7-9-7-23-78. (38.3ns vs. 39.3ns with cpu @ only 2400MHz). Must be faster then....right?

That there is enough to get me to re-bench it. Plus I have the cpu figured out a little better now so I should be able to improve all my scores except maybe cpuz....251 bclk seems unreachable.

Honda said he maxed it out @ 250 with LN2 on an R3E w/ CB, but that doesn't necessarily mean that's all it's got does it?

6-9-6-22-78 = bsod
6-8-6-23-78 = bsod

Looks good, if you hit a mhz wall with your ram...next step would be loosen to 6-10-6. Lower is not always better though too, settings tRFC too tight will F things up.

Knocked off 5 seconds first try using the same speeds as my previous best. :taunt:

I'm not going to submit that one though.....I'm pretty sure I can do better, plus the checksum is covered up.

EDIT: now of course I cannot even duplicate the time. 2 f-ing seconds slower almost wtf??? Only thing different is the DT background. I guess I'll try running the bench with it blank.

Neuromancer 04-11-2011 04:38 PM

too tight TRFC definitly messes things up :) MY machine was booting SO SLOW windows were opening painfully slow. I screwed up and had TREF set the same as TRC. both at 24 !!!

Surprised it booted .. lol

Have you tried not using classic theme? Use luna green or silver :)
