Does thermaltake have an notion of joining the extreme cooler ranks with Tt Dry Ice/ LN2 pots?

I think throwing some more effective and inexpensive pots would get more people into the hobby. A la the Koolance V1 and V2.

Working with some of the extreme cooling guys, you might be able to come up with a new cost efficient base to mass produce them at a much better price point :)

At this point, Koolance is the only competition, but I just cant see spending almost $200 on a DIce pot when for ~$50 more I can get a pot that does much better with LN2.

(Not that I get to do either lately :( )

No plans presently but I have presented the idea.

The issue is a good design we all know design is key to a good pot or one that is just regular and nothing special.

My guess is that the numbers aren't sufficient for a company such as Termaltake to mass produce LN2 pots, but they could go a long way in improving their water cooling hardware. Bigger customer base though lots of competition already :P

We are already working on Liquid cooling solution Optimization and as soon as I have a sample that performs to my expectations for the price point I will post the information here if you would like.

One thing to remember is that depending upon price point then comparisons can be made but not just on performance but also other features such as some of the Bigwater series which are basically entry level DIY liquid coolers however if your looking for something you can overclock to the moon then you could either add on extra rads to the Bigwater unit or you could take the next step into a Fully custom loop depending on your individual needs.

What is the companies position on extreme water cooling, AKA "Fully custom loop".
Not knowing the product line that well as frankly never gave it chance, I am curious to see if you are going after the novice or the extreme and if the latter what parts are coming and how efective will they be going nose to nose with companies making high end water CPU and GPU parts?

Honestly higher end CPU/GPU parts are readily available from many manufacturers who have perfected their design. When it comes to Extreme custom water loops I do not see Thermaltake producing that sort of product in the near future. But nothing is impossible and if there is a need and a market we may very well find a way to add whatever we can to that need.

the short of it most likely not at this time... however if we can get the DIY and entry level parts working excellently and you guys like them then it could definitely lead to more elaborate designs in the future.
