kikicoco1334 08-08-2011 10:00 PM

the rocket pot is amazing! OMG! it drops temp like crazy but the only prob is it's got NO mass! well... vs. the F1EE i can have that sucker a 1/4 pot and it stays cool real good

i am loving it!

monna get my new Celeron 352 a try tomorrow what do you guys think? F1EE or the baby pot?

Kal-EL 08-09-2011 07:00 PM

Prolly use less Ln2 using the rocket to get u there quicker.

kikicoco1334 08-10-2011 12:48 PM

yeah i am using the rocket right now and it drops temps down below -50 with only a little LN2 but the bad part is the China chip i have right now the 352 it's CB is -50 (+/- 5C) it seems like a very good clocker as up to now i got to 250mhz x24 from 200mhz x24 with out having any issues until my multimeter popped out of place and hit the motherboard and it shut the whole thing off had to wait from being -100C to -50 ">.<"

I prefer the slow base. Really prefer the original F1EE but don't have it anymore. :(

Can't stand how the new F1EE base separates. Dunno how many times I have picked it up and the bottom to fall off, lol.

HybridChiller 08-12-2011 09:09 AM

tape it together ?

DrNip 08-12-2011 02:57 PM

Oh yeah I have painters tape and Armaflex around it. Before I did that I dropped it as well as when I switched over to the slow base.

kikicoco1334 08-13-2011 06:26 AM

dude i dropped the rocket base on my foot when i first got it THAT SUCKED ASS!

but yeah i pretty much just taped it together and called it the day...

just a real quick question...
for the Commando or over all 775 boards how good is the temp reader in the BIOS? cuz normally it's like a 5C diff from the temp i am reading with the thing

cuz i know 1366 up to like -30 is really good but after -40 is just like "umm.... FFFFFUUUUUUUUU"

so far .....
the China 352 CB is at -50 dead on...
and have one of the 352 @ 2.035v @ 7.20Ghz it may beable to go higher but most likely cuz of my lack of temp and LN2 control keeps on crashing at -85C ~ -115C @ 7.2Ghz gonna give it another try monday when my mom is not home :P

that been said the new F1EE Rocket base drops temp REALLY quick! all i gotta do is 1 full pot the temp will be at the right temp and after that just lots of little adds and the control is kinda hateful

the old F1EE take a few min longer to drop the temp to the happy time but once it's there the temp holds it self there is not much temp control needed well... not as much

oh btw overclocking is banned from my house now :rofl

HybridChiller 08-13-2011 06:48 AM

i got today a Commando in with the mail, just popped a E6600 in it test it.

This commando does +640fsb, so i hope i have good cpu's lying around here.
