Intel for reliability, Samsung for reliability/speed, Crucial for speed/price/reliability, and Sandforce drives for speed. I think the M4 64GB is the best bang for buck. Got mine for $85 and it does 550MB/s read, 115MB/s write. The new Samsung 830 64GB will do about the same read with better writes, and has better reliability, though either would be reliable. The Force GT 120GB I had was great, but I dont think its worth the price difference.

With RAID you lose TRIM, so I would look for drives that have agresive garbage collection if doing RAID. The Kingston V100+ is good for that iirc.

Cecil, Long time dude :D

Don't think you lose Trim if you have a raid controller card, but, I could be wrong :P

Witchdoctor 12-12-2011 01:59 PM

take a look at the M4 ..........

DOM 12-12-2011 02:29 PM

So what's trim ? LOL

Now I'm not feeling ssd there so small that's why i wanted to raid them thinking for more speed and space so would a 120gb be better then raid ?

MaadDaawg 12-12-2011 02:33 PM

what's RAID

What's Trim?? Trim works with S.M.A.R.T. to keep your SSD from clogging up and slowing down. Works on Win7 only :D
