I'm stumped.....
|
So here is the floor, recognize it?
http://www.precisioncomputing.net/wp...5/IMG_7149.jpg Then I modded the W4 cpu block: http://www.precisioncomputing.net/wp...5/IMG_7019.jpg Of course we have to integrate these cool fans whereever we can! http://www.precisioncomputing.net/wp...5/IMG_7150.jpg Did you really think i could leave the tower 900 go without cutting it up? http://www.precisioncomputing.net/wp...5/IMG_7151.jpg Wait til you see whats next! a preview: http://www.precisioncomputing.net/wp...5/IMG_7148.jpg |
So after chopping the bottom few inches of the Tower 900 off we come up with this.
Serves two purposes, slightly shortens the unit, and allows me to use the cabinet lower structure as part of the actual case itself. http://www.precisioncomputing.net/wp...5/IMG_7147.jpg http://www.precisioncomputing.net/wp...5/IMG_7144.jpg http://www.precisioncomputing.net/wp...5/IMG_7146.jpg Still not finished with the inside of the cabinet a few more things yet to reveal. |
Thinking Mario....

Next update I have decided to replace the tower 900 floor with acrylic, as I need space to have a drain system. So I am here now, need some harware, and I also added a video on the products that will be used at the link below. http://www.precisioncomputing.net/wp...5/IMG_7199.jpg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XN6J3WD3G0E |
Very handy with the tools there Marc, excited to see the pages turn on this one.

So last I left you I had just cut the acrylic floor for the Tower 900. Lets take a look at the hardware that has been sponsored! http://www.precisioncomputing.net/wp...5/IMG_7256.jpg http://www.precisioncomputing.net/wp...5/IMG_7277.jpg http://www.precisioncomputing.net/wp...7/IMG_7820.jpg http://www.precisioncomputing.net/wp...7/IMG_7902.jpg Now we can see why I wanted an acrylic floor! http://www.precisioncomputing.net/wp...7/IMG_7827.jpg Here we see the cabinet has been stained and urethane applied. http://www.precisioncomputing.net/wp...7/IMG_7807.jpg And my work on the Tower 900 has begun (other than me already making it two inches or so shorter.. http://www.precisioncomputing.net/wp...7/IMG_7984.jpg More coming very soon! |
And let's take it to the next level...
Fans in place http://www.precisioncomputing.net/wp...7/IMG_7880.jpg Rads in place, 10 fans for two 360 rads. http://www.precisioncomputing.net/wp...7/IMG_7986.jpg We customize everything around here.. http://www.precisioncomputing.net/wp...7/IMG_8003.jpg http://www.precisioncomputing.net/wp...7/IMG_8002.jpg Cabinet upgrade http://www.precisioncomputing.net/wp...7/IMG_8011.jpg Controllers mapped out. http://www.precisioncomputing.net/wp...7/IMG_7982.jpg Started on tubing. http://www.precisioncomputing.net/wp...7/IMG_8007.jpg Until next time. |
Lookin good Marc
