lol. I have the rig on a mobo box and its doing better, I honestly think my issue was the heatsink stressing the board due to its weight. I'll keep you guys posted.

If its hard to get the crossbar on, then the mount is off and will stress the mobo. The backplate posts should slide a lil into the mobo holes.

they do, and the crossbar is in perfectly. Just the weight I guess.

oh oh how much heavier is it compared to the thor?

never owned a thor, but this cooler is pretty heavy. Don't be scared though, i have confirmed my issue is not the cooler. Im still troubleshooting. It's been a week and one day already :(

:clapping: finally got my megashadow and it took a little time for me to figure it out and at first it didn't work:shock:....But I finally got it (too much thermal compund:ohcrap:). But now it it is up and running and it looks soooo pretty on my rig!!!!!! I love it and it also holds the fans better....VERY HAPPY!!!!! :good: :clapping: :clapping:

Ok, keep me posted. I jut di some w primes yesterday with push and pull scythe 110 cfm'ers. 4650mhz @ 1.517v temps barely broke 80 Celsius. :)

Now that the issues are sorted out with the rig. Going to do some more testing.

here is what I got from my daily 4Ghz setting and beyond. The 3rd picture shows the actual temps. For some reason they hold steady at around 57-58ºc on the hottest core and for split second they jump. I think it's just a glitch with the temp. sensor on the board I guess.
