my vapor-X both did 1000/1300 1.18v air
ASUS did 1100/1300 @ 1.38v air

Confirmed what everyone might know already.

Card on air is a POS, I had better OC's with my $370 Asus HD5870. It maxed out around 1000/1250 1.30vgpu 22oC air temp on Vantage.

Only way to make this card shine is LN2 me thinks, not even DICE will 'arouse' her... :good:

Nice man see if it scales past 1000/1300. That's where my problems kicked in.

1100/1350 seamed impossible on air for me. My Asus was breezing thru that.

I also believe I received a crappy sample: the box was opened, card was opened and used (fingerprints and vga connector scratches , plus one fan not working with a disconnected cable).

So I bought a new and received an open box from the Egg :thumbdown:

Exactly, same with my sample, these are meant for LN2.

No real mystery here Honda, I use MSI Kombustor and Vantage. Small increments on core and mem speeds till card starts giving me GSOD or artifacts, followed by small bumps on stock volts when needed.

Same results with my sample: 1000/1250 stock volts but as soon as the core passes 1100 and mem 1300 :poop: so I guess I can stick with my Asus or will have to get the new fattyboy around the corner :thumbsup:

haha 1400 core or bust, Just finished erasing it up and nail polishing around the core. Going to leave the metal plates and hope it doesnt condensate alot underneath, sealed them pretty well

pretty much any asus reference card will do 1300+ cold so these HAVE to do better.

well I hope your guys' work better than mine. I cant even load 1300/1200 at 1.55v and get random 2d freezing at 1200/1200 1.5v. Display loss at -170, 2d gets weird over -160. Waste of 2L, didnt even get to run any 3d benchmarks lol

From my testoing 06 and Vantage only for 10.3's

yeah im pretty mad about it lol for $500, was trying to run vantage but couldnt even set the clocks without it freezing. Hope its a driver issue def going to try 9.12s sometime.

My benching has revealed the opposite WD. The 10.3's are epic for vantage and completely unstable for everything else. I have had the best results with the 9.11 or 9.12 with the rest of the 3d's. Prolly driver issues splig or your mount, backup and check everything and come at it again when your not pissed lol.

Edit: I will have my lightning on LN2 today for test purposes, nice nudge Spliggy, focker!

I am officially nervous enough to break out the lightning and do some testing ... was gonna finish with this p55 first but I have to know lol.

1000/1200 on air 1.16v

Mount was great, nice even spread and AB was reading exactly what the ea10 was within 3 degrees.

Did you raise all vmem, vddci and vgpu? What volts?
