well bad news :( im out of ln2, was only gas left in the dewar. Will drop off tomorrow morning and see if they can hook me up but most likely wont be till monday now to try it out.

Thanks, I got to bench one day finally! Stuck on phase but the q6600 cooperated.
I still have 2x e8600 to test, but it will take ln2 to get any hw boints with them. Also have an 8800gtx modded and ready to go under cold, as well as a gtx 295. Just have to find the time to get ln2 and git 'er done! |

Last bench on the Asus R3X, right after this bench board started to coldbug CPU even with -20c, this was the first bench with the 920 and I was planing to do a all around but things where acting so weird that I gave up on this one, now to Advanced X RMA!

VTT went from 1.475 to 1.55 vdimm from 1.7v to 1.85v ht on and off reacted the exact same Uncore tryed x16 to x22 Ram multi tried x6 to x10 Cpu multis tryed x31 x32 x33 total failsauce, was good on water though lol |
Splave have you tried pushing the bclock and running on a lower multi? I think it was at kp site Hiwa said some chips he tested run better with high bclock/low multi and of course visa versa.

Need to report in myself. Tested my new f batch last night. Good to 6.3 @ 1.8vc. The downside is it won't,run vantage at 5.4...bad re3

I think it is better to add that this chip is behaving exactly like,my b batch...ie.,goin to the same spot in vantage cpu test one and then freezing. Kind of made me happy, maybe my b is ok after all. Gonna do a fresh OS install and then switch to the 762, hopefully both chips are fine. Will update in a week or so.

7967 but didnt save valid, think im done with it. Tried 2 more so far today, first on 7.4ghz max other 7.0ghz max. 1 More to try for today then some more tomorrow. I have 3 to test tomorrow morning :) I love cpu-z Big thanks to rom for letting me borrow the koolance v1 pot, while im cooling 1 pot down im heating up the other to double my testing speed! |
