thanks guys i just got home and more dice on it's way over to my house right now should =)

just real quick when i am using the clockgen for fine tune should i increase by alot at a time or as little as passable cuz i been doing both just the little as passable worked the best but still am i doing it right?

gonna try my best to hit the 6 tonight
i'll post voltage and settings at the next BSOD

Splave 10-08-2010 12:14 PM

boot at a higher speed so all you need is small jumps

i think i just ran in to a really big FSB hole cuz i can do up to 217 in windows with out BSOD of any kind but when i try to boot at 200 or 205 it will not boot i have not tried anything above that yet
cuz i ran out of dice :ohcrap:
but the highest i ever got it to boot was 190 didn't try anything in between 190 to 200 tho..

but i can normally do 40MHz in FSB in windows
now it seems like i can't go over 5427 and i hit 5440 by pure luck

sorry i just passed out as i was typing this post  idk how lol i think i am just tired

i am moving everything down to the garage right now

and dice just got here too so i monna be benching my ass off now

DOM 10-08-2010 02:20 PM

what are you mixing the dice with ?

make sure you still have fresh air flow in the room/ garage ;)

100% medical use ethanol
went to the lab just grabbed 2 bottles of it :rofl

but here is my voltage setup:
VCore 1.6 just increased it to 1.65
FSB 1.5
NB 1.45

what up

kikicoco1334 10-08-2010 04:46 PM

any one know why it's still not booting at 200mhz?
i tried 210

and now when i put it at 1.7 for vcore and now it's saying it's over voltaging
i already maxed out the FSB
and it's really not helping much
did i really already maxed out the chip on dice?
most people are getting 6G on dice with this damn chip!

Chuchnit 10-08-2010 04:48 PM

kiki try a whole range of FSB over 200. Don't be afraid to keep trying up to 250+. Also play with NB volts a little. I'd say as long as you have a fan over it, 1.6v won't hurt just doing CPUZ runs.

Splave 10-08-2010 04:58 PM

pull a stick of ram out and go 1:1 with the fsb:memory

kikicoco1334 10-08-2010 04:59 PM

thank you i will give that a try

VCore 1.7
FSB 1.55 (maxed out)
NB VCore 1.55 going to be 1.6
i have a monster 80mm fan on it (3300RPM lol)

will do that too

dose it matter what slot i keep it in?

now i am just crushing the dice...
the box my mom got home today are the round tubeish looking rod kind it's stupid hard to crush it down to dust like lol

somehow i find that' description funny and retarded at the same time but that's like the best way i can put it lol

kikicoco1334 10-08-2010 05:57 PM

it's not doing 1:1 at all idk why i changed the voltage from 2.2 to auto and timing to 5-6-6-15 2T
will not even boot...
with one stick of ram is not really doing much ...

and is my video card that's bring me down?
i am using the GTX 260 it's a pci-e not an flat out pci

kikicoco1334 10-10-2010 07:34 AM

i think just found out that what was i maybe doing wrong now!
my ram was set to 1:2 not 1:1
but the prob here is i have no idea how to set it to 1:1 the lowest setting that i can pick is 1:2
i think that may be the prob why is bring me down don't you guys think?

my ram is 800MHz OCZ HCP 4-4-4-15 @ 2.2v
but i am only running at 960 @ 5-5-5-15...
i am so :Dizzy:

DOM 10-10-2010 07:45 AM

it says 1:2 but the FSB is 240X2= 480 which is 1:1 :Dizzy:

you have to be over a certain fsb to be able to boot 1:1
set dram to lowest speed in bios then increase fsb in the bios.Watch the mem speed will keeep going up till you hit a certain fsb and then it will drop down all of a sudden :)

69_Goat 10-10-2010 08:21 AM
