Don't have any global action in sight for the near future, but I'm almost ready to freeze this 4870. Chippin away at hardware boints while I wait for RMA's and the 6000 release.

I'm hurting bad in 2D boints in general. Haven't had a CPU worthy of the LN2 expense. Good 32M scores take a lot of time and LN2.

IMC sucks balls on my current 980x - really hairy ones. 32M was my big plan on 1156, but I keep killing those fragile 32nm chips (RMA-land right now).

GPU bointage is easy smeasy. 980x on SS makes old gpu hardware boints like candy.

32m doesn't require much ln2....

Once again Patch is dead on. I am gonna pick up another 980x and see if lightning will strike twice. If its a dud, its perfect for goin under the SS and using mucho gpu's for team success. Only prob is rev 4 will more than likely make the team hw boints non-existent.

Done with the 4870. Ho hum card. Doesn't mind -160 temps, but hates more than 1.4v and the memory crapped out lower than I'd hoped.

Vantage, 06, and 05 were truly my best efforts. Couldn't beat Smoke's smokin GPU clocks (or his CPU)...... 03 and AM3 were afterthoughts rushing to get something posted with the last of the LN2 fumes.

Prolly won't do much for the next few weeks, then it'll most likely be some more 01 learning attempts.

7.75ghz is great unless you are chasing after 8ghz! I put a bid in for a 347 today. Hopefully o boy takes it. 352 and 356 in route. Looking for a p5e3 Premium mobo. Might just pick up a Deluxe seeing you can flash it to the Premium BIOS and have the same volts. Then again I might stick with my P5B Deluxe as it was treating me just right. :D

What board are you getting? Is the REX not enough to get the 8G? He He! :D ;)

REX is compatible with the 347, 352, 356, etc. Neither was my Blackops. :(
