Re-installed yesterday and sp works but error on mp. I will try that jack switch. :good:

Edit: Switching the jack allowed me in but I don't want to have to do that everytime. Hopefully adding the sound card back will allieviate the problem.

While the SG02 is a little larger than the SG07, I think it will be better for me in the long run. Finally get my 5.1 surround back...wOOhOO! :D

So, what do you think of this? I threatened to do it earlier and I'm thinking of going ahead with it. I will take the scorched 980X and put it in the X58 micro mb for the gamer. Overkill I know, but I will never be able to rma the chip the way it looks.

Thinking out loud, what if I plumbed the Boreas into this beast? I don't think that has been done yet lol...:taunt:

Ok - I have the Boreas worked out...just need to find the proper size grommets and some nylon screws/nuts for the water block. Dragon Skin, here I come! :thumbsup:

Gawd! What a wad! All I like now is the hdd, ssd, video card and a couple of fans. After they go in I can tie up loose wires.

Rather than cut on the case any further I decided to just run the needed pci-e/molex connectors out the back for the Boreas TEC's and pump. I would like to get someone to cut me a piece of wood 12"x27" and router the edges pretty to mount all of this on. That way I can move/handle the entire set-up if needed. I could even devise an acrylic cover that would slide up to the back of the case and completely cover the cables/Boreas unit.

Just noticed the 24 pin connector had on stick of ram in a bind...taken care of. :thumbsup:

Thought I had better hook this beast up and make sure it would boot before tying all the wiring together and buttoning it up. Everything works just lovely and I have my surround sound back. wOOhOO! :party:

Man that trumps my lil o powerful HTPC I just recently built but is right up the ally of my next one I was going to build. There is something about seeing how much power you can crame into as little space as you can. Nice build man!

When I get this finalized and buttoned up I will run some bench's and get some finished pics up. :good:

Not even fine tuned yet and it's blasting away. Having problems getting HDDBoost to play nice with 64 bit OS...may have to icksnay on the 64 bitay.

Done! Finally got the HDDBoost to work with 64 bit OS and it just sizzles. Upgrade now is not an option unless another video card is desired, but that would be ridiculous for me with the current crop of games on hand. ;)
