totally, it will ice right up too. You arent going to want to tip it imo, if you were like me you would lose half of it on the floor lol I would sell the hose and phase seperator and keep the extractor top easier for the guys to fill it too :thumbsup:

Things are going quite fail on my end. took the A out of the xpower and noticed 6 bent pins maybe that why it wont do 2000 cas 7 lol New xpower no bent pins ram still doesnt clock worth shit, need bios update though but...

New hyperX wont do rated timings 2250 cas 9 unless using xmp profile on RE3.

New lightning not going over 1200 would seal the deal, we'll see what happens this weekend.

Is it pretty much about the same as the old F1EE? Slow pull down, maintains temps better unlike the quick pull down and quick to heat up 10-15 degrees of the fast base?

MSI Lightning = crap. Good luck Splave. Dosn't like votage, dosn't like cold, Dosn't clock over 1200 and the memory won't do over 1150. I went at it face first yesterday. Meaning i just jumped right to the high clocks and voltage. that didnt work out at all.
Got things setted this am and just started from the bottm and worked it up. Without a cpu over clock. 1190 gpu @+300 was the best i could do @ -120. More voltage would just crash it. And only 1150 on the memory @+250. Again higher clocks r more voltage did no gd at all. The thing would freeze up around -130. I have all the switches setup as avised by photos and my friend Rom. Iwas benching Vantage (i fucking hate Vantage), 3D05 and Aquamark. Tried the 290.99 drivers first and they sucked big time. Went to the 258.96's and they wern't better fr score but were a bit more stable.

Among other things now that i've put OCZ freeze on the CPU i'm cold bugging at -150. And thats throwing another wrench in the works. 3hrs yesterday and 3 hrs today along with about 40L on juice. I'm goin back to my old cards for hardware boints. This things not gonna beat my reeference card at anything.

IMO some just dont clock well so I think your justified in not bashing your skull in with it and moving on.

What type of voltage is +300 for your card? I know my card from moa vid was like 1.15 and roms is 1.0x something.

really sorry duder, but ocz freeze busting out the cold bug but you will get higher clocks for sure with less temps ;)

+300 mem was a no go. Made it crash the drivers. I didn't put the voltage read leads in the card. I didn't know/think there were differences. The highest i had my pci was 110. I'll give this thing another try. Just don't know when. Mother in law coming over tonight and heading out of twn tomorrw fr a few days. tuesday loks possible,

Someday i'll invest in a keyboard that works. I hate this thing.

3d was fail today, ran 06 several times @ 6150, card @ 1200/1150, and never got close to 40k :(

Couldnt get through vantage, although the B batch will run cpu test at 5.9 fairly easily, 53500 cpu score.

Drivers are probably shite, live to fight again another day.

06 was running, just crap scores, ~37k lol at those clocks should be 42k :(

Vantage was failing gpu, my card is on its last legs...

i had the same case...06 results that are low..

did you try to logoff winxp and start anew with new logon? it helped gt1 first peak(max) scores.

we were thinking nvidia drivers sorta jerky when failed 3d06 runs...rerunning bench...
gave lower gt1 peak scores. logging off sorta fixed it.

Dude it is horrible right now. I was telling Kal the other day I was getting ready to bench this 8800GTS so that means in about six months I should have it done, rofl. The baby won't take naps or go to bed at a decent hour. Then she won't sleep at night. She's like the energizer bunny. Frackin' killing me man.

You have to do like I did, pre-plan it about a month out! I had my mom ready to babysit the day of my 1st LN2 session. Had the wife on board that I wasn't to be jacked with all day that day. Worked out great. I also have an agreement with the wife that Friday nights from when the baby goes to sleep (usually about 7:30pm) and on is my bench night. Just don't have the fundage for it right now. In about 2 weeks I will be kicking it off again. I could go the dice route but why waste my time. Once you go LN2 anything less would be uncivilized.
