HybridChiller 03-08-2011 06:59 PM

E759 = limited edition and has NF200 chips for 4x 16X lanes
E760 = normal version is 1x 16lanes and all the rest is 8lanes
E762 = classified 4way sli with 7 pciE slots and quad sli and NF200chips

CLARIFICATION

759 - original limited edition, 1 NF200 to allow true 3 way SLI 16X16X16
760 - No NF200, provides 3 way SLI at 16x8x8 - no ECP Panel
761 - Same as the 760 but comes with the ECP panel
762 - 2 ea NF200 for true 4 way SLI 16X16X16X16
769 - second limited edition, basically a 761 with a Hydro Copper chipset block

aw sweet! that;s REALLY good info there
thank you bro!

just real quick tho...
"unless you are running 3/4 way sli your score my have a 5~7% decrease if you are using 762 due to the NF200 chip"
^^^ is that ture?

MaadDaawg 04-19-2011 02:55 PM

Not sure Bro but rumors have always been that the 760 was faster than the 759, although I'm not sure that I could agree with that as I used to run both boards and liked the 759 a little more.

Graphic performance on the 759 with TRI SLI should blow away the 760 with TRI SLI, but earlier cards weren't enuf to overwhelm the x8 slot so.... don't know lol

I was never really overly excited with the 762, but I did win some gold cups with 4 x 285s

+1 OC - on both the way cool and the AMD comments :P Naw, really is cool, but make sure your copper loop is completely drained before you freeze it into the block of ice, the copper will rupture otherwise!
