Yea. I'd put the cpus on different loops. Hell if ya have 3 pump then why not separate loops for each cpu and the mobo. Hmmm that would require more radiators though.

cpu 4200 22*191 , mem 1950Mhz uncore 3940

first i had 4000Mhz cpu 20*200 , mem 2000, uncore 4000

think i will keep the 4200Mhz, nice 24/7 Oc.

do the xeons overclock better on odd numbers too like bloomfield? maybe give it a shot. 4.2 x 16 is pretty sick though lol!

stock without turbo is multi 20, with turbo is multi 22, single tread multi 23.

i will try if i get 200x21 or so.

don't know if they have the same tweak with unpare multi like gulfy.

nice :)

hope someday to have the money for X5690's in this rig.

More power, better to OC with higher multiplier.

DOM 03-18-2011 03:02 AM

sell a kiddny

so this mb doesnt like high blck ?

HybridChiller 03-18-2011 03:07 AM

when i look at hwbot, not really, and i notice that i have to put to much Vcore, vtt, IOH to get past 200Bclock to get it stable, also needed to use Signal tweaking past 175 Bclock.

It's still a 5520 server chipset, for high OC you really need better cpu with good multiplier, not like me now 20stock, turbo 22 multiplier.

Like 5680 or 5690 higher multiplier, so better to play with and OC.
