It does not have to be a good or high amperage connection. Just get the signal across.

There is a new Vlite alternative I posted a bit back.. lets you use SP1 on se7en ;)

Nice. I actually didn't even need to raise vcore above what the board is capable of so you have a really good shot @ 7GHz without modding the board.........with the right chip ;)
