In the past you would have had to list it as to of the higher class GPU's for example 1 4870x2 and 1 4870 had to be submitted as 2 4870x2. I never understood this concept but it was the bot's requirement. I like the idea of submitting based on number of GPU's. Now let's see how that works out.

Simple, the word used is GPU and not card. 4870x2, GTX295 and 5970 are all dual GPU's so will compete with the likes of 2 x 5870, 2 x GTX285, this has been discussed in the hwbot thread........Also a single guy can only compete for 1 Global category for a particular benchmark. Which means you can pick 4 x 5870, pick a benchmark like Vantage, get the best score for 4 GPU category and Global Points, but your score for 3, 2 or 1 GPU will earn you only hardware points. So basically from 2 Global Categories(1 card and Multiple Card) for each 3d benchmark there will be only 1 Global Category in rev3.......

If that is correct i think that is a big mistake on there part...With todays economy, the way it is, the last thing any forum should want to do is run people away..Bots is a forum..First and foremost...People make it happen for them..They seem very proud of there 20,000 member mark...If I were them i would be coming up with ways to keep the 20,000 and not run them off...I only say this because the average guy that likes to bench will dissapear if he can't score..
It's just like the old saying..I will play as long as there's a chance of winning..I won't play if there's not...
I only say these things because I am a average bencher and ranked 750 out of 20,000. There must be alot like me...
