Thanks bud. My mod is working awesome. Kicking some serious butt. Of course i have the 980x in there as well. lol I only did the pencil mod for my memory and i can run it at 1180. I'm getting a max of 760 on the core. IDK if it's ocp or ovp kicking in at that point. Screen goes black and i have to reboot if i try to bench at anything over 760.

duke you can tell if its protection, probe it with your DMM and if it cuts the voltage to 0 when then screen goes black its protection if not more volts or less heat.
