Thanks to Shannon, I now own a pair of Xeon 5670s. I put them into the sockets on the SR-2 and I developed such a woody I had to stand up.

OK Punx... I am wondering... since there are 2 CPUs, when I am ramping up the OC and go too far, how do I know which CPU might need a bit more of this or that?

I look into the future and I see many hours of tinkering...many many hours

The board will run with just one CPU installed, so that will allow you to test them individually.

there are cpu disable jumpers up next to ram slots.... you dont even need to remove cpu to run each one seperate

Thanks to both......that is exactly what I was wondering if I could do.

Now, if one OCs better than the other can they run at different speeds?
