Seems I found the culprit in the latest fiasco. I found this evening that the psu was half dead...that leaves me wondering about the mb's and the cpu's. I am more than a little leary to try them with anymore hardware atm. What came first...the chicken or the egg? At this point I can't say what took what out.

Meanwhile, I have the new mb set up on the rack awaiting the 875 cpu due tommorrow. I will do the 4000MHz run first on TEC to get a feel for it. Going to blast all first on Win7, then I will test on XP. If I can top all in the lower clock I will hustle up some LN2 for this w-end. Was really hoping to use the 670 for LN2 but it's status is unclear for the time being.

I was hoping to see some 1m action from you for this asus thing as well rick. Hopefully you can still swing it, if not, you can kill the other comps around ;)

I have never owned a ASUS mb.

I have never owned anything but EVGA boards, lol, this was my first trip to Asus camp. The board boots at pretty much any setting but benchmarking is another story.

^ I like it alot, forgiving on boot for sure. I can cold boot higher speed than I can superpi lol!

Close but no cigar yet...having a devil of a time getting it stable so far. I suck at this.
