hey kiki... for DIce... acetone works the absolute best. You can get it at home depot or lowes (easy reference). Make sure to stirr the pot every so often for best temps...
My best acetone/DIce ratio... roughly 3/4 to 1" acetone in the pot, the 1/4 cup powdered dice to begin with... you will need to add more acetone and dice (dice per scoop) as things get colder. you will also have to add dice more often like that, roughly a scoop or 2 every 20-30 sec. during a run.
Dice offers a huge swing, but if you can figure out the timing, you can easily compete with the ln2 guys ;)
!!! make sure you cover any plastics with painters tape, as the acetone will eat at the plastics as it "sprays" out. it is also not good for the pcb unchecked, so to compensate, you may want to make a "flap" out of paper towels to cover the top of the pot when not pouring so the splatter is contained.

edit: My next sub zero run on the 970 will be a dice run.. I will live stream it to show you what I mean by the ratios... the gen. message is "less is more." it means more scooping, but better temps/control. I'll update the livestream thread when I'm ready. :)
