*off topic- Xmas got me saving my duckets for moar potss :good:You guys all itching for 1155's yet ?!

i melt the vaseline so it creeps into every space...

boards with vaseline - zero fatality....
1. asus commando - live and kickin
2. asus p5e3 - live and kicking
3. asus r3e - still workin
4. asus rampage extreme ...
5. gigabyte h55n usb3 ...still working
6. msi h57---still working
7. evga p55 ftw...still working...
8. asus p55 m3g...worked for 6 weeks during competiton...

the p67 will be ok....i'll prolly get the ud5....the msi p67-gd65 looks weak... the asus im not sure...its uefi.....so thats some worth considereing too...

i think some here are just limiting their choices to msi/asus/gb coz of the competitions:D:D

I keep going back and forth on insulating techniques. Stuff dies no matter how I insulate, and I've started avoiding Vaseline on mobos except in the slots - the mess on a mobo ain't worth it.

Vaseline is faster and arguably more effective, but much messier. I like it for GPU's now because the massive prep time savings vs mess hassle is worth it. But who knows how I'll feel next week?
