Have you tried running the CPU at stock clocks and running the memory at the desired settings?

Spank 04-08-2011 03:09 AM

Yes i have no problem at all at cpu stock settings and memory on xmp 2000mhz

At what clocks do the problems start. You may need to slowly bump up the OC on your CPU and see when the problems start to occur.

A small Update after playing with bios
23x 187 bclk 1.318 vcore and my memory at 1864mhz 8-8-8-24 2t
1.65v 1.60qpi

After 10 run at intel burn and everything seems stable no bsod and also 30min at prime32

Hi everyone,

Using the ET6 i manage to OC my CPU easily at 4.16GHz, but with the ram at 1600mHz only.

Can anyone help me to crack this problem, as im a newbie to OC........... :Dizzy:

don't use XMP, but set the ram as specs manual.
also put the specs of timing manual in bios and voltage to 1.66v.

Then maybe only need to adjust the QPI/VTT voltage for stability as how hard you're uncore goes.

Normally QPI volt is somewhere between 1.3 to 1.4 , maybe 1.45v max if you don't OC to much

what happens when you increase the ram or CPU speed? Any difference if you only use one stick of RAM at a time? Try one stick in each DIMM slot to rule out mobo issues. Could be an IMC issue too, do you have another chip you could swap in?
