its 4x 285's

Sounds about right, wonder how they scale compared to 4x 4890's

well, look at it this way,

4x 4890's are so good because they run at 1000 core each on air. if you ran 285's at 1000 each on air it woudl have destroyed the 4890, so they will beat the 4890 yes, in vantage. dont know about other benchmarks.

The 285 will be strong at same clocks as 4890;s

I was wondering how long it would take someone to do it. After I saw 4x 4890's on jody's board at my bench party, it was logical progression. Thats going to MURDER vantage and 03, I cant wait.

i really hope evga will release this retail cause it'll be hard to compete against vince and Peter in F1OC if we dont have access to it heheheh

all i can and will say is that BSN has 0 credibility with their post on this subject...pure speculation
