Neuromancer 06-21-2011 06:40 AM

Copy paper is fine I use it on my work lamp. Well actually a roll of art paper, same stuff though.

Problem I have found is shooting during the day, everything gets a yellow tint to it, so I try only shooting at night now.

Pics look great though , I am thirsty now :P

MaadDaawg 06-21-2011 07:43 AM

You'll love that mobo. Made clockin my 2600 and breeze.

OC Maximus 07-24-2011 11:20 AM

I'm loving it so far. Been playing around with ssd caching for the last couple days. Putting them old small SSD's I was using to bench back to work.

DrNip 07-24-2011 12:48 PM

Going to eventually retire mine to the case but not now. Got some benching ahead of me with it. Smexy pics though.

OC Maximus 09-18-2011 09:41 AM

Well, the machine has been running for a little over a month and since its filter cleaning time I thought I'd snap some pics of the progress.

Still need to work on wire management and sleeving. Also need to make a hold down plate for the power cord and the top trim piece for the drive bay.

Mick from Mayhems Dye was kind enough to send me a few samples so look out for my mini Dye review ;)

kikicoco1334 09-18-2011 01:08 PM

need to keep those fans clean mang!

i need to post some pix of my system up here sometime lol camera is still in the damn bestbuy's service center

OC Maximus 09-30-2011 05:32 PM

Flipped the HHDs around in the cage and pulled out the standard 120mm fan in order to route the wires around the front. Now they are all hidden and out of sight. Installed a slim 120mm fan on the outside as an exhaust fan to tidy things up.

Special thanks to animal0307 from OCN for coming up with the idea.

MDPC Sleeving kit should be here sometime next week so I can get busy on that psu. :)

Witchdoctor 10-01-2011 12:56 AM

Kal-EL 10-12-2011 08:23 PM

that mesh does wonders for a build.

MaadDaawg 10-15-2011 05:40 AM

how do you mold the mesh so perfectly? and.. how do you sleeve the water tubing?

I bought some black mesh for a build before you posted your pics, but it's still sitting here in one straight piece. Do you use a breaker bar?

MaadDaawg 10-15-2011 05:42 AM

Just curious - have you sleeved all the wiring and tubing on your sub yet? Bet it's the sickest control room in the fleet

That stainless mesh is so thick I had to use a big ass vice and a dead blow hammer at work. Chopped it all up with a dremel and cleaned it up with a file. Lots of measuring, a little elbow grease with a lot of time on my hands.
