Took out my quad-sli frustrations on this poor li'l Matrix. Thought this card was a 1300 card last June -from OCP, not mount. I can't frickin believe how much time and LN2 I wasted using that stupid OCP-fraught HCP1200. :argh:

Not a bad Vantage. Even did a full Heaven run at 1450/1300 with really nice FPS - but froze exiting the bench back into explorer - grrrr. Nothing good happened after that. Will revisit another day....

hey broskis got a quick question, i just got this cheap ass 1600MHz Sector 5 from newegg early last week, and I popped that sumbitch in my rig it runs pretty great but when i lowering the timing from 9-9-9-24 to 8-8-8-24/21 it just kinda SLOW down a lot? like in 9-9-9 timing spi 32 it hits 0.11.15.232 and 0.11.33.359 at 8-8-8? also this ting can OVERCLOCK! lmao i have it running at 1866 @ 10-10-10-31 1T 143 right now so far it's pretty stable

why does it slow down so much when i lowering the timing, but when i overclock it it's fine?

Edit: just got done running spi 32 with 10-10-10-31 @ 1866 @ 1.75v and ending time is 0.11.06.***

is it really that much harder for the same set of ram to run 1600@8-8-8-21 @ 1.80v then 1866@10-10-10-31 @ 1.75v? it'll run 1.7v as well just hair line slower

Sell the 570 and grab 2x 560ti Hawks , they will be cheap as soon as the new 560 is released and will crush a single 580 in gaming as well as provide single card and dual card bointing options and max hardware and power points are obtainable.
