It was my s775 overclocking days and software temp reading below 0 was entirely innaccurate. I can only tell you that the block reached -42c with the system off and rose to about -25c when benching. Waterblocks + sub-zero liquid coolant = failed efficiency. The waterblock just doesnt have enough mass to it.
Dry Ice prices vary from location to location, some places its really cheap, other expensive. Try calling your local gaspro or airgas or "company x,y,z" in your area, get a quote on dry ice. 15-20lbs is a good long session. be prepared to use the DICE immediately after you purchase because it subliminates (turns into co2) quickly. |
