If I freeze the cpu without addressing a crack wouldn't it just get worse?

Dont think a light bulb would get it warm enough to reflow solder DOM :P

Regualr bake, think its 350F for 10 minutes is recommended. But double check that. I never tried

Personally, I wouldn't worry about freezing the CPU if the second PCIE slot works.

As it stands, you're not using it at all. How could you make things worse than that?

I have baked some @400F but no 5 bill cards

And only one came back to life was a 8600gt but only one dvi works lol
