woohoo new chip is decent like volts and hates cold. this was at -130c 1.8v

580 is monster, display port froze so I had to quit. Im thinking 1300 should be possible. This is at full pot 1.32v More uncore and mem speed coming as well to boost gt1.

Nope, have the A/C blasting 10c air over the card. Everything keeps quite cool. Plus added heatsinks to the mosfets so the card runs like a champ.

what a great session :D ran out of ln2 in cpu test of vantage at 1250/1100 though :blush: refill probably after christmas. Beautiful 580 gtx.

3d11 was just warming up the card and cpu to thaw ;) -110 on card and -80 on cpu :laughing:

And kind of relaxing. No tweaking on the fly while you're trying to maintain razor edge temps.

Really is refreshing having more GPU heavy 3D benches. It's impossible to compete at the top in 01, 05, 06 and AM3without a cherry CPU. Something ain't right when cards on AIR maintain long term World Records in 3d benches because of a frankenstein ES CPU.

its the gpu that sorta stress me right now..lol

Something isn't right he should be 10k higher at those clocks, card unstable? Gt2 3 and 4 should still be higher where CPU doesn't matter

Hey! This mobo is the first that actually looks good with gray eraser.


Decided to use their wimpy little waterblock because the supplemental heatsink is designed such that it blocks one of the extra molex plugs for the PCIE's. Really dumb, because you only need the molex if you're using a lot of cards - which is also when you need more cooling for the dual NF200's..... With even one GTX 580, the "SB" gets damn hot without forced air on it......
