Aah, thats what I was thinking that efficiency is very very very bad. It would be 5m 58.875s man, :D

kikicoco1334 04-05-2011 02:14 PM

i was wondering like for the random drawing part... is that like if you are on the list you'll have a chance or it's based on how many submission you make?

oh and i am running low on LN2 :P

Kal-EL 04-05-2011 05:11 PM

Just the list brudder Tufu.

kikicoco1334 04-05-2011 06:12 PM

aw sweet! so i have a 1/50 chance to win something!

Kal-EL 04-05-2011 06:16 PM

Hey guys, Serra from XS is sponsoring the next five benchers in the competition. If you know anyone who wants to bench under his sponsorship, refer them to the forums ;)

kikicoco1334 04-05-2011 07:42 PM

tell him thank him for the sponsorship and kindness

1/2 chances i still don't get anything EVERYTIME lol

ny_driver 04-06-2011 02:21 AM

If I have $10 left to my name when I get back from the bank, I'm in. Actually being sponsored would be better for me right now.

Pretty sweet looking memory Rick.

Mine will run 32m @ 1050MHz 7-9-7....haven't tried more than 1.685v or any lower #s yet, but I'll only have ~5GHz cpu to work with.

More memory testing to do(memory testing newbie here), gotta get every ounce out of them.

EDIT: no money left........well $7 in the bank and $6 in my pocket.:blink:I hate when this happens.

saint19 04-06-2011 08:21 AM

Where I can find the wazza instructions for use it? I tried the link in the Kal-EL's sing but doesn't work . I also tried the other link in the channel but SuperPI alwasy show me memory use at 3,xxxK.

ny_driver 04-06-2011 08:40 AM

It takes a little while to get waza figured out and feel comfortable that you know what you are doing. It's pretty simple though if you just follow Splaves instructions for manual waza technique, which should be viewable at youtube.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2VdSWktL_g

That's how I learned and it works great so I can't give any special advice.

I also watched rickss69s tutorial.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7OZ7t...eature=related

I prefer the manual technique.
Good luck.

With manual technique did you refer to the Splaves youtube video in the 1st link right?

saint19 04-07-2011 03:05 AM

Thanks ny_driver, last night I tried the wazza tweaks and works perfectly. I only found a problem at the beginning of the process, the SuperPI memory use dropped until 94K LoL.

I definitely need a SB or Intel CPU for be competitive here, in HWBot and be on the top 1000 or better in the overclockers rank.

Thanks guys, excellent forum :)

ny_driver 04-07-2011 03:19 AM

Glad it works. :) you want spi memory usage and all other memory usage to drop way down. I've had spi memory usage all the way down to ~36k.

All that SB and expensive Intel stuff is nice, but if you look you will see I got most all my points using socket 939.

You can bench anything. ;)

That's true, I'm trying to bench an Athlon XP 2600+ Barton, but for some reason the CPU isn't running at full speed. :(

http://www.classicplatforms.com/home/

You might want to register over there if you are benching old stuff like that. Those guys know a lot.;)

rickss69 04-07-2011 08:40 AM

Looks like my 2600K is toast...it won't run over 4.5GHz now with all cores enabled no matter what the settings in bios.

Hello,

An hwbot crew member, Sweet, has blocked one of your submitted scores. It has been marked as 'insufficient verification for rankings'.

This was the reason the user gave:
No resolution this is mandatory in the screen

You can view your result here:
http://hwbot.org/community/submissio...0_109889_marks

You can find out more about the reporting user here:

Someone went to some effort to pick apart this pitiful score...

DOM 04-08-2011 07:45 PM

the res is in the note pad details

OC Maximus 04-08-2011 07:52 PM

Notpad can be edited to say whatever the heck you want it to. Maybe thats why it got flagged, idk.
