Correct, as I stated, 775 is still superior.

I didn't feel like waiting for my E8600 to get back from RMA so I ordered another one today. Should be here in time for the weekend. Unfortunately I will not be home in time to get some LN2. Looks like it is time to break out the geothermal well cooling for the NB.

100's of runs today and I'm finding i7's not as necessary for per-run LOD adjustments. My highest run so far was at a constant.

Yep, the more times you run a test the higher the chances are it will be lower...sometimes by a lot. The flip side to this is there are more tests than just the well known CL which can bug ;)

It can get very complicated, it really does take a lot of work to get a good '01 run off. The paramaters of the 01 challenge will really make this obvious, it can drive a person to drink :D

there is just keep at it ;) :thumbsup:

getting the order and LOD right is just part of the game but a very important one once you've got all the other settings etc sorted out
