Final target for me in 01 is this. Me with a 151mhz CPU deficit and I'll be aircooled on the GPU while he's running phase cooling. Hoping to meet that goal this weekend and then just get prelim runs in for all other 3d. :)

Couldn't get past 660/1050 on the EVGA 8800gts640 on air. Moved to water and had pretty much the same issues. vGPU peaks at 1.22v so looks like she just needs more juice. Vmod time ;)

Just got through my first CPU/GPU air session on the Evga 8800gts620 and I have to say, although the clocks were lower than the standard it didn't do too bad overall. Had the i7 875k running from 4.5GHz to 5GHz though the benches.

well that was fun, 580gtx is great :) full pot and let it roll 1.32v 1230/1100 passes easy no artifacts but my chip is acting funny so I just got a good score and quit, sure she has more in her. Whole test is at 5.4ghz :( I hope its not dieing, did run cpu test at 5.95ghz when testing at first but then nowhere near that boooo. Hope its just a bad mount

i see me4me doing 40k ..but his gpu rams are 1263....i think that helps gt1 and gt2...also helps with igp clocking :D

Sounds like your 980x is doing EXACTLY what mine did, ran vantage cpu test at 5.9 easily the first two or three times, now its degraded badly and I have to downclock to 5.6x :(

you dont think it has anything to do with the 580 do you? just funny all of a sudden our chips wont do cpu tests lol. Weird that I could bench at 5.95 when testing cpu test only then 5.4ghz max any time after that

My theory is that hammering 980x with HT on degrades the IMC quickly, so get it while your chip is fresh or don't get it at all I guess. I wasted mine on wprime and BS cpu-only 06 and vantage testing, now when I'm trying to get scores its already hurt.

After killing 1 CPU and 4 GPUs in the last 2 months I finally broke 400 points :club:

Revisited the 5770 on water today for the very last time before going cold. Its vmodded and ready to rock! Anyone have a gpu pot :)

Guess I'll add my x3 RMA AMD mobo to the kill list. Ram and CPU tested sat, looks like the AM3 Socket is FUBAR. I liquid tape insulated the board so no real chance for a 4th RMA :)

Moving on from AMD to Intel for my 24/7 rig. Keeping the 720 BE just in case I get my hands on another AM3 mobo and some LN2 ;)
