Wow. Stick of RAM came in and I'm guessing its not compatible with my mobo. Sad thing its I ordered another one that will be here in a few days. Looks like I dropped $170 for nothing. Maybe the stick is just bad and the next one will work. Time to play another waiting game. Sure was wanting to get in on this contest but won't be able too.

the ram stick didn't boot?
mobo? bios? |
Computer turns on and stays on. Nothing but black screen. Shut her down, pop in my Mushkin and everything is fine. BIOS is set to default. Even tried going into the BIOS with the good stick of RAM and setting the volts to 1.65, timings loose and set to 1333. No luck.
MOBO - GIGABYTE GA-H55N-USB3 RAM - Super Talent 2133 cas 8 BIOS - The Latest & Greatest Gigabyte's website shows RAM being supported up to 2400 but not by Super Talent. This is the 1st time I have ever experienced anything like this. Usually when I run into RAM problems I get the dreaded beeps. Dunno if that applies to non compatible RAM. EDIT: I quit computers. Going to go lay down and lick my wounds. |

some days that is the best solution bro .......... bro it will be there taunting you ...... (evil laugh) |
Well I powered it on and let it run. After about 30 seconds it powers off and powers back on. It will continue on this endless loop as long as I will let it. Now I'm going to lay down and rest my neck. Good luck to all. Later.

endless loop means the bios is in stupid mode....clear cmos with a flat screw driver...while power is off at the psu...

Cleared CMOS, pulled battery, etc. No luck.
